Kentucky Guitar Works at the Center for Lutherie
Kentucky Guitar Works will be the first of its kind in Western Kentucky offering a Luthier Apprenticeship Program, workshops, and educational sessions for aspiring instrument builders along with restoration of the traditional instruments of bluegrass music.

Rick Faris is both a talented award-winning musician and a skilled luthier. He and his company, Faris Guitar, will serve as the primary tenants of Kentucky Guitar Works at the Center for Lutherie.
Luthiers Guild
The Luthiers Guild is a non-profit educational membership organization to create a community of craftspeople who want to share their knowledge, experience, and inspiration about lutherie with their fellow members in order to advance the lutherie craft. Membership is open to anyone interested in stringed musical instrument building, repair, restoration as well as suppliers.
